Why The Day After Israel Independence Day Is More Important

.

Israel Independence Day Was Awesome,

What about tomorrow!

As every year, Standing Together was there on Israel’s Independence Day to say THANK YOU to thousands of IDF soldiers.

While the nation was BBQing and partying, the men and women of the IDF were standing guard making sure we can continue to celebrate Israel’s independence. The IAF (Israel Air Force), Navy,  Tank corp, IDF Infantry units, Artillery, and others were ordered to stay on base for Yom Haatzmaut (Israel Independence Day).

It is during the holidays, that our motto and motivation has even more importance.
If IDF  soldiers can’t get out to celebrate, we are going to bring the celebration to them”
and that’s exactly what we did.

We had hundreds of people donate and contact us and ask how they can help. What an amazing feeling it was to see how many people from around the world were anxious to join us in showing the men and women of the IDF the support and love they have from around the globe.

As the day was coming to an end, we were all in a great mood. The feeling we had after reaching thousands of IDF soldiers and making them smile, was indescribable! We could not have done it without the thousands of sponsors and Standing Together volunteers and there is not enough we can do or say to thank our partners.

The only thing that we at Standing Together were worried about was, what about tomorrow?
See, Standing Together is there for IDF soldiers every day of the year. We are there to help soldiers whose families do not have the financial means to celebrate the holidays and we are there for the families of  Lone Soldiers who cannot pay for a trip to Israel to be at their son or daughter’s IDF graduation ceremony. We are there for soldiers who call and email us at any and every hour of the day or night and we are there 24/7 to make sure IDF soldier know they have love, support and appreciation from around the world. We are always happy, willing and ready to offer support any time the IDF calls on us , but our success really depends on you.

Here is a special message from Standing Together’s director, David Landau, whose only concern for the past 23 years is to be there for IDF soldiers. Listen to his call to action for you as well and join us.

IDF soldiers do not spare any effort to keep Israel safe and we are inviting you to join Standing Together  in our efforts to say THANK YOU. We have many different campaigns and we are asking for your help so that we can continue showing appreciation to those who are putting their own lives on the line to protect Israel.

All donations are tax-deductible in the US
