Standing Together is working to provide special, personal mishloach manot packages for chayalim as a celebration of Purim and a gesture of hakarat hatov to the brave men and women who protect the land, borders, holy places and people of Israel.
The most important item in each mishloach manot package will be a personal letter wishing the soldier a Purim sameach and best wishes for their health and safety.
How To Help If You’re In Israel
- Purchase bags* from Standing Together
- Purchase suggested items** to put into mishloach manot bags and return the filled bags to your local coordinator
- Volunteer to be a local coordinator
- Volunteer to help us distribute mishloach manot to soldiers throughout Israel on Purim
- Promote this to friends, family, organizations, schools and institutions in your area and online
How To Help If You’re Not In Israel
- Purchase pre-filled bags of mishloach manot from Standing Together to be distributed on Purim
- Promote this to friends, family, organizations, schools and institutions in your area and online
People will be asked to fill the bags with the suggested items as soon as possible and return them to their local volunteer coordinator so that Standing Together can distribute them to the soldiers. We will collect the completed packages and arrange to take volunteers with us to distribute the packages to soldiers on active duty.
