Urgent Appeal for Freezing Soldiers in the Golan

There are over 2,000 soldiers who are protecting our country in sub-zero temperatures. They desperately need cold weather gear as a matter of survival.  None of the major organizations who usually help are able to,their budget is being used for other things. The Army does the best they can but their budget is more focused on life and death than gloves.

Like you, I had fun this week watching my Facebook wall fill up with posts and photos of snow from around Israel. But knowing the fear for the health and safety of our brave men and women was a harsh, sobering reality check.

Each soldier needs $50 in cold weather clothing*, namely gloves and thermals. We’re adding $5 so we can get them delivered directly to the Golan so the soldiers can be warm as soon as is humanly possible.

Much of what Standing Together does is to show appreciation to the soldiers. This time, it’s serious.

Respectfully,
