Our tradition teaches us that when someone is wearing tzitzit they are more connected to Hashem. Soldiers depend on their relationship with Hashem to get them through their everyday challenges. Even soldiers with little connection to religion find comfort in it during hard times.
Tens of thousands of Israeli combat soldiers wear olive green Tzitzit every day. However, the standard issue thin-cotton fabric (the begged) does not last long in extended combat training and actual field conditions. So, we have arranged with an Israeli company which manufactures clothing products worn by soldiers of some of the IDF’s most elite units, to purchase special Tzitzit made of olive green, dry-fit material that stands up to the harsh conditions that combat soldiers put their clothing through.
The cost to donate these tzitzit is $18 for one set and $25 for two, Send a memory foam pillow for only $36.
