Holiday Packages for IDF Soldiers

Standing Together values bringing the holiday celebrations to the IDF soldiers standing guard. If they cannot go home for the holidays, Standing Together will go out to our Chayalim and Chayalot.

STANDING TOGETHER & UNITED WITH ISRAEL help soldiers in need of Pesach food packages with donations from you our WONDERFUL DONORS. We cannot express enough how grateful we are to you our donors and volunteers and to United with Israel for teaming up with Standing Together to unite in the act of giving to IDF soldiers who give so much.

Standing Together also makes an effort to get out to as many soldiers as possible between Pesach and Yom Haatzmaut. Their day to day experience is one that lives the responsibility of Israel’s Independence, Standing Together is in awe of the IDF’s dedication and we go out to them to share the full joy of the holiday.

Rosh Hashana through Sukkot is a busy time for Standing Together.  We try to visit as many soldiers as possible and give out sweet treats and wish all the IDF soldiers we meet a Happy and Healthy New Year!

Each Chanukah, Standing Together visits IDF soldiers on duty throughout Israel. We travel throughout the country to army bases,  soldiers guarding bus stops and border towns and every place in between to give out the taste of Chanukah – sufganiyot (donuts) and to light Chanukah candles together.  This past Chanukah 1000s of donuts were given out. The first thousand were donated thanks to United With Israel. The rest of the donuts and treats were thanks to you our donors.

Purim, the happiest day of the year, is  one of our busiest. Standing Together spends days preparing Mishloach Manot food packages with volunteers of all ages. This past year we included letters that Standing Together received from around the world with the food packages. It was our treat to spend Purim and Shushan Purim giving out the treats! Our IDF soldiers on guard will not miss out on this fun holiday!  Standing Together will go out to the soldiers and celebrate with them.
